Verified RFAs first, high-value pipeline intelligence second.
Virginia is releasing Rural Health Transformation opportunities on a rolling basis. Atlas creates grant records only after a controlling RFA is verified, while separately tracking official sub-initiatives whose award amount, deadline or district-specific application is still pending.

Federal funding movement confirmed August 28
CMS announced that $122 million is now being delivered across Virginia Rural Health Transformation investments, expressly including remote patient monitoring, virtual care, mobile clinics, maternal care, community paramedicine, provider interoperability and productivity, allied-health pathways, and rural workforce initiatives. This confirms funding is moving into the implementation phase, but Atlas still requires a controlling RFA before presenting any individual sub-initiative as an open grant.
