The Bedford Community Health Foundation (BCHF) is accepting its Fall 2026 grant cycle for nonprofit organizations providing health care or health-related services that benefit residents of the Town and County of Bedford, Virginia.
Deadline: Complete applications must be received on or before October 1, 2026 at 4:30 PM. BCHF does not separately state a time zone on the controlling grant procedure, so applicants should follow the Foundation’s current office and submission instructions exactly.
Funding: BCHF does not publish a current applicant cap or standard award range for this cycle. Award size is determined through the Foundation’s grant-review process. Submission package: BCHF requires an original hardcopy plus two additional hardcopies of the cover letter, detailed project description and impact, timeline, projected participants or community impact, and project budget. One hardcopy each is also required for IRS 501(c)(3) documentation, current officers and directors, the latest financial statement, and current organizational budget. BCHF additionally requires two PDF files: one containing the complete application, and a second containing officers/directors, 501(c)(3) documentation, the latest financial statement, and current budget.
