Delaware Health Care Provider Loan Repayment Program (DE HCPLRP)

Delaware's state-funded Health Care Provider Loan Repayment Program offers up to $50,000 per year for up to four years to qualifying recent graduates who commit to practice in underserved Delaware communities. The current April–September application cycle closes September 15, 2026.

Required next actionConfirm the clinician completed qualifying graduate education within the last two years and meets specialty, licensure, citizenship/work-authorization and service-obligation requirements. Broad Eligibility

Recent advanced- or mid-level graduates in eligible primary care, dental and mental-health disciplines may qualify, including family medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics, psychiatry, geriatrics, obstetrics/gynecology, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, certified nurse-midwives, clinical nurse specialists, psychologists, licensed behavioral-health clinicians and dentists. Awardees commit to at least two years of practice in an underserved Delaware area; qualifying settings can include hospital primary-care practices, private practices, FQHCs, community outpatient or mental-health facilities and free clinics.
