Broad Eligibility
Eligible applicants are Minnesota Community Mental Health Centers or Clinics designated under Minnesota Statutes section 245.62, or nonprofit Community Mental Health Clinics designated as Essential Community Providers under section 62Q.19. Providers must offer free or reduced-cost mental health care to uninsured low-income patients under age 21 with family incomes below 275% of federal poverty guidelines. Current Dental Safety Net or Hospital Safety Net grantees are ineligible. A timely Letter of Intent was required before the full application.
