Opportunity Overview
The Idaho INBRE Supplementary FOAs: Travel & Seminar Series support two activities for eligible Idaho INBRE partners: biomedical research conference travel and scientific seminar series or community outreach events.
Deadlines and Eligibility
The FOA uses two recurring annual deadlines: April 1 for travel or seminars occurring May through October, and October 1 for activities occurring November through March. As of September 12, 2026, the next deadline is October 1, 2026. The FOA does not publish a clock time or time zone. All Idaho INBRE partners except the University of Idaho are eligible. Campus Leaders gather applications and submit them together by email to Idaho INBRE.
Travel Support
Travel support is limited to regional or national biomedical research conferences where faculty and students present their research findings. International travel is not allowed. Applications identify travelers, conference details, justification, other support pursued, and estimated costs. Requests should remain under $2,000 per person.
Seminar Series Support
Seminar support may cover a scientific seminar series, individual seminar, or community outreach event. Allowable estimates may include speaker fees, speaker travel, room costs, and related expenses. Funding is capped at $2,000 for an individual event.
Award Mechanics
The number of awards depends on submissions and available funding. Selected requests are funded through a subaward modification to the institutional Idaho INBRE block grant and may be funded in full or in part. Funds must be spent by April 15 annually.
Atlas Fit Analysis
Atlas Opportunity Score: 58/100. This is legitimate rolling Idaho biomedical research support, but it is limited to travel and seminar activities. N9+ Fit Score: 0/100. The published mechanics do not establish a legitimate procurement role for the Nonagon N9+ device and platform or QC Healthcare.
Outreach Classification
No applicant outreach is authorized from the Idaho lane on the current facts because no legitimate N9+ or QC Healthcare role is established.
