Minnesota Job Skills Partnership — Partnership & Pathways Programs

Minnesota DEED is accepting Partnership and Pathways workforce-training grant applications through September 14, 2026 at 4:30 p.m. CT, with grants of up to $500,000 for eligible education or workforce intermediaries partnering with Minnesota businesses. Short-form and pre-development applications are due October 5, 2026.

FundingPartnership and Pathways grants may be up to $500,000 per project. Short-form requests may be up to $50,000. Partnership pre-development grants may be up to $50,000, with the maximum later Partnership award reduced by the pre-development amount.

Broad Eligibility

Partnership: accredited Minnesota educational institutions partner with Minnesota businesses to train new or existing workers; the business must provide at least a 1:1 cash/in-kind match. Pathways: accredited Minnesota educational institutions or eligible workforce development intermediaries partner with Minnesota businesses to train low-income participants; participating businesses must provide at least a 0.5:1 cash/in-kind match. Training-related curriculum, instruction, materials, supplies, equipment and instructor travel may be funded; tuition reimbursement and wage subsidies are not eligible grant costs.
