Opportunity Overview
UC Davis Health Facilities Planning & Development is requesting Statements of Qualifications from firms to provide medical equipment deployment and logistics management services across the Sacramento medical campus and off-site ambulatory and administrative locations. The selected firm will support construction and non-construction projects, equipment replacement initiatives, relocations, fulfillment logistics, activation and closeout.
Contract and Deadline
UC Davis Health expects to select one firm under a Professional Services Agreement lasting 48 months with a dollar threshold not to exceed $1.5 million. Statements of Qualifications are due September 14, 2026 at 4:00 PM Pacific Time. Applicants must request the required upload link from the UC Davis Health Contracts Manager no later than September 11, 2026.
Qualification Requirements
The RFQ emphasizes a dedicated resource with Northern California proximity and same-day Sacramento-area availability, a required bachelor’s degree for the assigned resource, relevant university health-system capital-project and equipment-replacement experience, and demonstrated equipment-logistics and activation expertise. Screening also considers minority-, veteran- and women-owned business classifications.
Scope
The selected firm will lead deployment planning and scheduling, warehouse and fulfillment logistics, department and support-service coordination, move management and activation support, equipment testing and training coordination, documentation, reporting and compliance. The work covers mobile assets, fixed assets, wall fixtures and other equipment across multiple clinical modalities.
N9+ / QC Analysis
Atlas Opportunity Score: 79/100. N9+ Direct Vendor Fit: 5/100. QC Healthcare Fit: 0/100. This is not a Path A Dr. Miltie opportunity. The procurement is for a specialized medical-equipment deployment and logistics management firm, not for the purchase of clinical equipment, remote examination technology or clinical services. The RFQ’s experience, local-resource and logistics-management requirements do not match Dr. Miltie’s core vendor role.
Next Step
Qualified medical-equipment deployment and logistics firms should review the full RFQ and Consultant Statement of Qualifications form, confirm the dedicated-resource and experience requirements, request the upload link by September 11, and submit one tailored PDF by September 14 at 4:00 PM Pacific Time. Atlas should retain this opportunity as healthcare procurement intelligence without Dr. Miltie applicant or partner outreach.
