Broad Eligibility

The lead applicant and fiscal agent must be a Massachusetts municipal entity. Eligible communities must demonstrate gang-related activity with local statistical data. Regional collaborative applications are permitted with one municipality serving as lead and fiscal agent, and project partners may include municipal and state law-enforcement agencies, nonprofit and community-based organizations, and other government agencies. The FY2027 AGF requires a written commitment to provide a 25% match from municipal or private contributions.
