Cape Cod 5 Educational Mini-Grant Program, 2026–2027

Cape Cod 5 is accepting proposals from eligible public school classroom teachers for classroom projects, creative learning experiences, and educational resources that benefit students in local public schools. This is a grant benefiting schools, not a personal cash award or a vendor procurement contract.

Award amounts

Standard educational mini-grants provide up to $500 per project. The review committee will select five standout projects for $1,000 each. The $1,000 recognition is competitive and is not guaranteed to every applicant. Checks for approved awards are made payable to the recipient school.

Who can apply

Eligible applicants are classroom teachers employed at public schools on Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard, Nantucket, or in Plymouth County, Massachusetts. Projects should engage students, encourage creativity or curiosity, address a classroom or student need, and benefit a classroom or larger group of learners.

Deadline and application

Apply by Tuesday, November 3, 2026. Cape Cod 5 does not publish a closing hour or time zone on its program page. The Educational Mini-Grant application is separate from the bank’s general Community Support application. Applicants should use the application button on the official Cape Cod 5 program page and verify all form requirements before submitting.

Important conditions

Proposed spending must support the educational project described in the application. The official public program page does not state a universal matching-funds obligation, but complete budget, certification, and submission requirements should be checked in the linked application form. Recipients are expected to receive decisions in late November or early December 2026, with awards distributed to schools in connection with the February 2027 celebration.
