Broad Eligibility
The FY2027 Safe Schools Fund Grant is open to Maryland's twenty-four local public school systems. It is a noncompetitive State-funded program. Individual schools, healthcare providers and nonprofits are not direct applicants, but qualified behavioral-health providers, crisis specialists, trainers, technology vendors and other organizations may participate through a local school system's eligible project or contractual-services model.
