The Connecticut Department of Public Health sought three organizations to support low-income people with HIV through the state’s Ryan White Part B program. The procurement covered two regional service hubs and one statewide Transitional Linkage to Community coordinator for people returning from incarceration.
The Eastern Regional Hub covered the Capitol, Lower Connecticut River Valley, Northeastern and Southeastern planning regions. The Western Regional Hub covered Greater Bridgeport-Metro, Naugatuck Valley, Northwest Hills, South Central and Western planning regions. The statewide TLC coordinator supported released inmates. The RFP was designed to deliver eight core services and seven support services aligned with Ryan White Part B standards, with emphasis on access to medical care, retention in care, viral suppression, reduction of disparities and client-centered service delivery.
