Bristol Bay Area Health Corporation RFP 26-004
Open now. Bristol Bay Area Health Corporation is accepting proposals for RFP 26-004, BBAHC Electronic Security Systems Upgrade, a healthcare campus security modernization procurement serving Kanakanak Hospital and related Bristol Bay facilities.
Deadline and submission
Proposals are due September 28, 2026 at 2:00 PM AKT. BBAHC requires electronic submission by email to procurement@bbahc.org. BBAHC also instructs prospective proposers to register their intent to submit with Procurement and to confirm all required documents and addenda before sending a response.
Scope
The selected integrator will replace BBAHC’s existing access control and video security systems with a modern integrated platform, with Genetec or an equivalent solution preferred. The scope includes software, licensing, hardware as applicable, professional services, configuration, migration, integration, testing, training and support. The system must support BBAHC’s critical access hospital operations and rural facilities, including strict downtime controls during migration.
The RFP identifies 151 current access control readers and 106 cameras across Dillingham, Togiak and Goodnews Bay. The proposed solution must address access control, video management, migration, integrated operator workflows, system testing, training, support and ongoing maintenance.
Vendor qualifications and proposal requirements
Proposals must include a title page, table of contents, authorized transmittal letter with addenda acknowledgement, proof of business license, proof of insurance, the required representation and certification form, examples of similar legacy migration experience, technician certification information, a technical proposal, implementation and rollback approach, project schedule, itemized pricing and bill of materials, recurring software and maintenance costs, and support and maintenance information.
BBAHC will evaluate qualifications and reasonable cost. Qualified American Indian and Alaska Native businesses receive preference in accordance with Public Law 93-638. The RFP does not publish a maximum contract value or guaranteed minimum award, so Atlas does not infer one.
Atlas assessment
Atlas Opportunity Score: 68/100. This is a legitimate Alaska healthcare infrastructure procurement with meaningful operational importance to a critical access hospital and rural health system.
N9+ Fit Score: 0/100. The Nonagon N9+ device and platform is not a legitimate fit for this physical security systems procurement. Dr. Miltie and QC Healthcare are not treated as verified direct bidders because current records do not establish the required security integration, legacy migration, certified technician and installation capabilities. No direct bid or applicant outreach is authorized from this record.
