Opportunity Overview
The Canyons Education Foundation 2026 Innovation Grant supports worthwhile and innovative projects that advance student achievement in Canyons School District. Full-time school-based educators may apply individually or as teams.
Funding and Deadline
Applicants may request $1,000-$10,000. Applications are due Friday, September 25, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. The Foundation’s current page does not state a time zone, so Atlas does not infer one.
Eligibility
Eligible applicants are full-time school-based educators in Canyons School District, either individually or as educator teams. The proposed project must be worthwhile, innovative, and related to student achievement.
Application and Award Requirements
A detailed budget sheet is required, including requested items and shipping charges. Applicants must notify their principal that an Innovation Grant application is being submitted, and the Foundation sends a copy of the application to the principal. Requested items are reviewed by district technology, curriculum, and purchasing directors for compliance with district requirements. Final award decisions are made by the Canyons Education Foundation Innovation Grant Committee.
Awarded project materials and equipment become property of Canyons School District and must comply with district fixed-asset requirements. For team awards, equipment remains at the school where the grant originated. An impact report is due by May 15, 2027.
Atlas Analysis
Atlas Opportunity Score: 76/100. This is a practical, currently open local Utah education opportunity with a clear applicant pool and a useful $10,000 ceiling, but awards are limited to Canyons School District educators and projects must directly support student achievement.
N9+ Fit Score: 10/100. The official program is a broad educator innovation grant, not a healthcare or telehealth procurement. A health-sciences educator could potentially propose a medically oriented instructional project only if it clearly serves student achievement and passes district review, but Atlas will not assume N9+ allowability without project-specific written confirmation.
QC Healthcare / Dr. Miltie fit: No direct vendor path is established by the published grant terms. Any role would need to arise from an eligible educator-led instructional project and district approval.
Next Action
Eligible Canyons School District educators should confirm project fit, prepare the detailed budget, notify their principal, and submit through the Foundation’s current Innovation Grant application process before September 25, 2026 at 5:00 p.m.
