NJ Accelerate Program 2026

The New Jersey Economic Development Authority is accepting applications for NJ Accelerate until September 19, 2026 at 5:00 PM EST, or until available program funds are exhausted, whichever occurs first.

Funding structure: Approved Accelerators may receive up to $2,000 per qualifying New Jersey programmatic event, capped at $20,000 total. Eligible Approved Accelerator graduate companies may receive a 1:1 matching convertible note with warrants capped at $250,000. NJEDA states the note has a 10-year maturity and 3% interest rate. Qualifying graduate companies may also receive a 1:1 matching rent grant covering up to six months, capped at $25,000, at an NJ Accelerate-approved collaborative workspace or laboratory.

Eligibility: The program is open to accelerator programs that satisfy NJEDA’s approval criteria and to qualifying businesses that graduate from an Approved Accelerator. Graduate-company eligibility depends on the applicable benefit and includes required New Jersey operating-presence, tax-clearance, accelerator-graduation and, for the Investment Benefit, qualifying accelerator-investment conditions. Life Sciences is one of NJEDA’s targeted industries.

Required materials: Depending on the benefit requested, NJEDA requires items such as New Jersey Tax Clearance, an Approved Accelerator Certificate of Completion, workforce and employment documentation, company formation records, business-plan or investor materials, investment agreements, and lease or membership documentation. Additional due diligence may be requested.

Submission mechanics: Event Sponsorship requests use the NJEDA sponsorship form and required attachments. Graduate companies seeking Investment or Rent Benefits must contact the NJEDA Technology Innovation Products Team for the applicable online application link and instructions. NJEDA lists a $500 application fee for the Investment Benefit; the Rent and Event Sponsorship benefits have no application fee.

N9+ Fit Score: 45/100 conditional. Life Sciences eligibility creates a plausible business-growth pathway for a qualifying company commercializing the Nonagon N9+ device and platform, but NJ Accelerate does not itself establish a clinical deployment, equipment-purchase, telehealth-project or healthcare-provider grant pathway. Direct Dr. Miltie / QC Healthcare eligibility is not established and no auto-submission or applicant outreach is authorized from this control record.
