Kansas Health Foundation 2026 Upward Mobility Mass Action Mini-Grant Program
The Kansas Health Foundation, working with the Kansas Leadership Center, is accepting applications for the 2026 Upward Mobility Mass Action Mini-Grant Program. The program supports community-driven projects that help Kansans facing financial hardship gain greater economic stability by putting one or more strategies from the Kansas Blueprint for Upward Mobility into action.
Funding: Grants are available for up to $10,000 per organization, including required travel costs for participation in the grantee Strategy Lab.
Deadline: Applications are due September 29, 2026 at 12:00 noon CT. The application period opened August 18, 2026.
Eligibility: KHF states that eligible Kansas 501(c)(3) organizations, government entities, and churches meeting the program’s tax-exempt requirements may apply. Applying organizations must have their own independent 501(c)(3); fiscal sponsorships are not permitted. All grant-funded activities must occur in Kansas or directly benefit Kansans.
Match and cost share: The controlling public program materials do not state a mandatory match or cost-share requirement. Reviewers may award bonus consideration to projects that leverage or catalyze additional funding.
Allowable costs and restrictions: Funding is intended to be flexible for project activities.
