The Community Foundation for Loudoun and Northern Fauquier Counties is accepting applications for the Loudoun Community Response Fund Phase Two Collaborative Community Solutions Grants. This is a competitive financial-assistance grant for organizations serving Loudoun County, Virginia, and is separate from the Community Stability and Assistance track and the Loudoun Impact Fund.

Applications: Open October 15, 2026, through November 23, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. The funder does not state a time zone on the controlling public guidelines.

Eligible applicants: 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations serving Loudoun County; the guidelines also reference a qualified fiscal sponsor for organizations lacking their own exemption. A single organization may submit one proposal to this track and may separately apply to the Community Stability and Assistance track. Collaboration is encouraged but not mandatory; partnering organizations must each file their own application and budget.

Grant funding: Approximately $2,000,000 is available across this grant program. The minimum individual grant award is $20,000. No individual maximum is published; larger awards and partial awards are possible. The $2,000,000 is the overall program pool and not an individual award.

Program focus: Housing stability and rental assistance; food access and distribution; legal services for vulnerable low-income residents; and healthcare access, including behavioral and mental health. Projects must serve Loudoun County residents, with priority for collaborative, coordinated solutions and responses to service gaps.

Costs and conditions: Program expenses consistent with the proposed budget are allowable. Facilities and administration expenses are capped at 7% of the request and grant award, subject to the funder’s definitions. Funding cannot supplant expenses already financed or committed by other sources. A specific matching-funds requirement is not stated in the public guidelines. The project period is January 1 through December 31, 2027. Quarterly financial and outcome reporting is required.

How to apply: Submit through the Community Foundation online grant portal at https://www.grantinterface.com/Home/Logon?urlkey=cflf. The proposal form, budget form, and required supporting documents are provided in the portal. New applicants must register. An optional preapplication workshop is October 28, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.
