Opportunity Overview
The Vermont Child Development Division NAEYC Accreditation Fees Grant helps eligible Vermont regulated early childhood and afterschool programs pay qualifying costs associated with National Association for the Education of Young Children accreditation. VTAEYC administers the application support process for this Child Development Division program.
Funding and Deadline
No standard per-applicant maximum award or total program pool is published in the current official grant requirements. Funding is limited each fiscal year and may be prioritized when demand exceeds available funds, with priority given to applicants that have not received a grant during the current fiscal year.
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis and may be submitted anytime. The current guidance does not publish a fixed closing date, clock time, or time zone. Applicants should allow approximately 4–8 weeks for processing and should apply early enough to account for fiscal-year funding availability.
Who Can Apply
Applicants must be Vermont Child Development Division regulated programs that meet NAEYC requirements for initial accreditation, reaccreditation, or annual report/renewal fees and that can demonstrate progress toward the applicable NAEYC accreditation requirement.
Eligible Costs
For initial accreditation, eligible requests may include enrollment, application, and candidacy/site-visit costs. For maintaining accreditation, eligible requests may include annual accreditation fees and verification-visit fees. Costs must align with applicable NAEYC fees. The state-posted grant requirements include a legacy NAEYC fee table, so applicants should use their current NAEYC invoice or fee documentation rather than assuming that older table establishes a current award ceiling.
Application Requirements
Only complete applications are considered. The current requirements specify that a receipt and screenshot documenting the applicant’s NAEYC status must accompany the application. No follow-up grant report is required under the posted requirements.
Match and Cost Share
No mandatory matching percentage or non-Federal cost-share requirement is stated in the current official grant requirements.
N9+ / QC Healthcare Analysis
Atlas Opportunity Score: 68/100. This is a legitimate statewide early-childhood education quality opportunity with rolling access and direct support for accreditation expenses, but it is narrow in scope and limited to NAEYC accreditation-related fees.
N9+ Fit: 0/100. The grant is restricted to accreditation-related costs and does not provide a defensible pathway for telehealth hardware, remote physical examinations, clinical technology, or the Nonagon N9+ platform.
QC Healthcare Fit: 0/100. The program does not fund physician coverage or clinical services.
Direct Vendor Review
Dr. Miltie, LLC is not the intended applicant or direct vendor for this grant. The opportunity should remain applicant-led for eligible Vermont regulated early childhood and afterschool programs.
Contact and Next Action
