The South Carolina Department of Agriculture is accepting FY2026 Specialty Crop Multi-State Program applications for collaborative projects that enhance specialty crop competitiveness.

Funding: $250,000 to $1,000,000 per project, for projects lasting up to three years.

Eligibility: Specialty crop producer associations and groups, state agencies, Tribal government entities, universities, nonprofits, and other stakeholder organizations. Proposals require at least two substantive partner organizations in two different states, including at least one South Carolina partner when applying through SCDA.

Cost share: 25 percent of the total Federal portion requested.

Deadline: October 16, 2026 at 5:00 PM EST. Applications are submitted to SCDA using the required SCDA and USDA forms.
