Opportunity Overview
The Clovis Municipal Schools Education Foundation is accepting applications for its 2026-27 Education Initiative Grants. The program supports innovative instructional strategies and student-centered projects within Clovis Municipal Schools.
Funding and Eligibility
Any Clovis Municipal Schools employee, individually or as part of a team, who works directly with students or supports student learning may apply. Awards are up to $1,000 for individual teacher-led projects and up to $5,000 for team, department, or district-level initiatives. The Foundation limits awards to one grant per school per cycle, and all awards are subject to available funding.
The official page does not state a mandatory match or cost-share requirement. Atlas therefore does not infer one.
Project Requirements
Funded projects should use innovative instructional strategies, directly benefit students, begin and end within the current school year, support measurable qualitative or quantitative outcomes, and help highlight educational excellence in the community. Projects involving technology require approval from the CMS Technology Department for compatibility and alignment with district policies and infrastructure.
The public program page does not publish a separate allowable-cost schedule, procurement rule, or mandatory attachment checklist. The application is submitted electronically through the Foundation’s linked online form.
Deadline and Submission
Applications are due Friday, October 9, 2026 at 5:00 PM. The controlling official page does not state a time zone, so Atlas does not infer one. Because Atlas outreach requires an exact deadline date, time, and time zone, recipient-facing outreach remains on hold unless the Foundation supplies the missing time zone.
Program questions may be directed to info@cmseducationfoundation.org.
Atlas Analysis
Atlas Opportunity Score: 66/100. This is a verified, open New Mexico K-12 education opportunity with clear applicant eligibility and funding levels, but the relatively small award size and unpublished deadline time zone limit pursuit value and automated outreach readiness.
N9+ Fit Score: 10/100. Technology projects are possible only with district Technology Department approval, but the program is not a healthcare, telehealth, or clinical-device grant and N9+ should not be force-fit. Any role for Dr. Miltie/QC Healthcare would need to be selected independently by an eligible CMS employee or team, fit a legitimate educational project, and satisfy district technology and procurement requirements.
Dr. Miltie/QC direct-applicant status: No Bid. Direct eligibility is restricted to Clovis Municipal Schools employees/teams.
