Broad Eligibility

Best-in-class accelerator programs meeting NJEDA approval criteria and qualifying New Jersey businesses that graduated from an Approved Accelerator and satisfy the applicable tax-clearance, workforce, founder-presence, targeted-industry, timing, matching and diligence requirements.

Atlas Analysis

Atlas Opportunity Score 88/100. N9+ Fit 45/100 conditional. Life Sciences is an eligible targeted industry, creating a plausible business-growth pathway for a qualifying company commercializing the Nonagon N9+ device and platform, but NJ Accelerate does not establish a clinical deployment, equipment-purchase or telehealth-project funding pathway.

The New Jersey Economic Development Authority is accepting applications under the NJ Accelerate Program until September 19, 2026 at 5:00 PM EST, or until available funds are exhausted, whichever occurs first. The program supports qualified accelerator programs and eligible New Jersey businesses that have graduated from an NJEDA Approved Accelerator.

Funding structure

Approved Accelerators may receive 1:1 matching event sponsorship grants of up to $2,000 per qualifying New Jersey event, capped at $20,000 total during the pilot. Eligible Approved Accelerator graduate companies may receive a 1:1 matching Investment Benefit in the form of a convertible note with warrants, capped at $250,000. Qualifying graduate companies may also receive a 1:1 matching rent grant covering up to six months, capped at $25,000, at an NJ Accelerate approved collaborative workspace or laboratory.

Eligibility and application controls

Graduate companies must satisfy NJEDA eligibility requirements, including New Jersey tax clearance, workforce and founder presence requirements, participation in an NJEDA targeted industry, and, for the Investment Benefit, a qualified investment from the Approved Accelerator. Life Sciences is an expressly listed targeted industry. Graduate benefit applications are generally tied to completion of an Approved Accelerator program and must meet the program’s timing, diligence, matching and documentation requirements. The Investment Benefit has a $500 application fee; the rent and event sponsorship benefits have no application fee.

Atlas analysis

Atlas Opportunity Score: 88/100. NJ Accelerate is a current, well-documented New Jersey economic-development funding pathway with meaningful support for innovation companies and Life Sciences eligibility. N9+ Fit Score: 45/100 conditional. A qualifying Life Sciences company commercializing the Nonagon N9+ device and platform could potentially fit the program’s business-growth framework, but the program does not itself establish a clinical deployment, equipment-purchase or telehealth-project funding pathway. Dr. Miltie/QC Healthcare direct eligibility has not been established because Approved Accelerator graduation, qualifying investment, workforce and founder presence, and applicable matching conditions have not been verified. No direct application or outreach should be initiated on that assumption.
