The Jewish Community Foundation, Inc. of Southern New Jersey has opened its Fall 2026 JCF Grants Cycle for nonprofit programs serving Southern New Jersey. Applications are due Friday, October 23, 2026 at 4:00 PM. The funder does not expressly state a time zone in the current public materials.
Funding
Each approved JCF Grant is capped at $5,000. The current page does not publish a total Fall 2026 funding pool. JCF grants operate on a reimbursement basis and are treated as last money in, so reimbursement is tied to actual eligible program expenses and other program income.
Who Can Apply
Eligible organizations include IRS qualified 501(c)(3) nonprofits and incorporated synagogues or churches that may not have a 501(c)(3) designation. Applicants must have been in existence for at least one year. Programs primarily should benefit residents of Burlington, Camden, and/or Gloucester counties, although the applying organization does not need to be based in those counties.
Program Priorities
JCF gives highest priority to new programs and services, followed by expansion of existing programs and emerging critical community needs. The Foundation also favors collaborative initiatives, broad community impact, sustainability, promotion of Jewish values, and alignment with Jewish Federation of Southern New Jersey priorities. Those priorities include older adults, disability services, families and youth, and mental and behavioral health needs among Jewish at risk youth.
Cost and Match Considerations
The public guidelines do not state a mandatory match requirement. Applicant or participant financial participation can be viewed positively as evidence of program buy in. JCF generally avoids capital needs, salaries or similar expenses already included or expected in an organization’s budget, security, transportation, general administrative tasks, food that is not central to the program, and fundraising sponsorships.
Application
Applications are submitted through the JCF Grants Application Portal. The current application materials request the program title and request type, a concise summary, objective, documented need, program method, expected impact, program dates, anticipated income and expenses, grant amount requested, evaluation and marketing plans, a primary point of contact, and collaborator details when applicable. Organizations new to JCF may be asked for additional organizational documentation such as the most recent Form 990, a board list, or tax exempt documentation.
Atlas Analysis
Atlas Opportunity Score: 84/100. N9+ Fit Score: 25/100 conditional. A qualifying nonprofit could potentially propose a new or expanded health access, older adult, disability, youth, or behavioral health program that includes appropriate technology or clinical program supplies, but the published guidance does not establish a specific telehealth, remote examination, medical device, or equipment pathway. Because JCF generally avoids capital needs, the Nonagon N9+ device and platform should not be forced into this opportunity without applicant specific program design and funder confirmation of allowability. Dr. Miltie and QC Healthcare are not direct eligible applicants under the published organizational eligibility.
