Up to $10,000 for New Hampshire Food Security Work
The MVSB Fund, administered by Meredith Village Savings Bank, is accepting 2026 grant applications focused on food insufficiency and food security. The fund is seeking projects addressing hunger and food access, access to nutritious food, and stronger local food systems in communities served by MVSB.
Grant requests of up to $10,000 will be considered. MVSB states that historical awards have averaged approximately $5,000. The official 2026 materials do not publish a total funding pool.
Deadline
Completed applications must be submitted as one PDF to mvsbfund@mvsb.com before midnight on October 15, 2026. The controlling official materials do not state a time zone, so Atlas does not infer one.
Eligibility and Selection Criteria
Applicants must demonstrate 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status and/or public-agency status, a primary base of operations in MVSB’s market area, a record of local community value, organizational sustainability, the ability to leverage other funding or voluntary support, strong value for the requested funding, and cooperation or collaboration with other organizations. Beneficial use of prior MVSB Fund support is also considered where applicable.
The ability to leverage other funding is an evaluation criterion, but the official application does not state a mandatory match or cost-share requirement.
Generally Ineligible Uses
The Fund generally does not award grants to the same organization multiple years in a row; to replace public funding or support activities that are a public responsibility; for political, sectarian or religious purposes; for deficit reduction or already-completed activities; for academic research; or for out-of-state travel by school or youth groups or by individuals for scholarly or professional purposes.
Required Application Materials
The completed application must be assembled as a single PDF and include the application cover sheet, full proposal narrative, current board-member list, proof of 501(c)(3) status, prior-fiscal-year profit and loss statement, current balance sheet, and organizational operating budgets for the current and prior fiscal years.
Atlas Opportunity Analysis
Atlas Opportunity Score: 74/100. The opportunity is legitimate New Hampshire social-determinants and public-health funding with a clear 2026 focus on food access and nutrition, but the $10,000 ceiling and narrow annual focus limit applicability to Dr. Miltie’s core healthcare technology capabilities.
N9+ Fit Score: 0/100. The 2026 program focus is food insufficiency and food security, not remote examination, telehealth, clinical equipment or health IT. N9+ should not be forced into this opportunity.
QC Healthcare Fit: 0/100. Direct clinical services are not the stated 2026 funding objective.
Dr. Miltie direct-vendor determination: No Bid. The applicant structure centers on 501(c)(3) organizations and public agencies in the MVSB market area, and Dr. Miltie is not being treated as a qualifying direct applicant.
