Closed. The Nevada Health Authority application window for Statewide Health Care Access and Recruitment Program (SHARP), Grant Cycle 1: SFY27 closed on September 9, 2026 by 11:59 PM Pacific Time. Atlas is retaining this record for award monitoring and future-cycle intelligence; no new applicant outreach should begin for this cycle.
The RFA identifies $57,900,000 in funding available, subject to legislative allocations and approvals. Individual awards will vary. An applicant may not request more than 80% of the total funding available. Except for specified statutory exceptions, applicants must provide total match and/or documented in-kind contributions at least equal to the SHARP amount requested. Awards are reimbursement-based rather than advance-funded.
Eligible applicants include medical facilities, community health clinics, group practices, federally qualified health centers, qualifying higher-education health workforce programs, behavioral health and substance-use entities, oncology organizations, and qualifying governmental or nonprofit organizations that provide direct patient care, health workforce training, or health-access services. Regional collaborations are allowed with one eligible primary applicant/fiscal agent.
N9+ relevance is unusually strong. The RFA expressly allows infrastructure enhancements including technology and equipment to expand telehealth infrastructure and regional access pipelines, and eligible projects include telehealth networks and specialized medical equipment. A qualifying Nevada healthcare applicant can therefore build a defensible project that names Dr. Miltie as the N9+ technology/equipment vendor when the project directly addresses a Certified Area of Need and does not duplicate Rural Health Transformation Program investments.
Important controls: applicants must be registered Nevada vendors before receiving funds; funded patient care generally must occur in Nevada; projects must address documented Nevada health-workforce/access needs; and SHARP funds may not duplicate investments or resources already funded through RHTP.
Atlas Opportunity Score: 97/100. Large statewide pool, broad healthcare eligibility, explicit telehealth/equipment allowability, strong rural/access focus, and a meaningful application window make this one of Nevada’s highest-priority current healthcare opportunities, moderated by the one-to-one match requirement and reimbursement structure.
N9+ Direct Vendor Fit: 99/100 — HIGH FIT. The strongest commercial path is applicant-led: an eligible Nevada healthcare entity applies with Dr. Miltie/N9+ included as the connected remote-exam, telehealth-technology and specialized-medical-equipment vendor. Dr. Miltie should not be represented as the eligible primary applicant unless the Authority confirms eligibility under the RFA.
