Open now. The State of Nevada Commission on Construction Education, administered through the Nevada State Contractors Board, is accepting grant applications for Nevada construction education programs.
Official opportunity: State of Nevada Commission on Construction Education Grant Application, October 2026 cycle.
Applicant value: the current application does not publish a maximum request or fixed award range. Applicants state the total funds requested, and any award remains subject to the continued availability of Construction Education Account funds.
Deadline: a complete, legible application and attachments must be received by October 1, 2026. The controlling source does not publish an exact clock time or time zone, so Atlas does not infer one.
Eligibility: governmental entities, nonprofit organizations recognized under Internal Revenue Code section 501(c)(3), and nonprofit educational institutions. Programs must be performed in Nevada and support education related to building construction.
Program priorities: construction career awareness for primary and secondary students; technical training and high demand trades; business and entrepreneurial skills; project management; customer service; business ethics, integrity, retention, credibility, and industry image; construction training and credentialing; diverse workforce participation; and K through 12 construction industry education.
Allowable budget categories: the application includes direct cost categories for audio visual materials, benefits, books and periodicals, dues and fees, equipment, general supplies, instructional kits, purchased services, purchased professional services, purchased property services, salaries, software, staff travel, other specified costs, and identified indirect costs, subject to Commission review and detailed cost justification. Grant funding will not be provided for work performed before approval.
Match or cost share: no mandatory match is stated. Matching funds are encouraged, and funding committed from other sources may strengthen an application.
Required application materials: the Commission grant application; applicant and program information; prior Commission funding and other program funding; program overview and need; demographics; measurable goals, strategies, activities, class or event schedule; financial statements including a balance sheet and statement of revenues and expenditures for the year ending closest to the application and the two previous years; applicant budget; Budget/Expenditure Summary; detailed cost justification; student count and cost per student; and required signatures and assurances. Both the contact person and fiscal agent signatures must be notarized. Eligible recipients must designate a fiscal agent, and a representative must attend the Commission meeting to answer questions.
Submission mechanics: applications should preferably be submitted electronically to cce@nscb.state.nv.us. The application also lists delivery to Commission on Construction Education, c/o State Contractors Board, 5390 Kietzke Lane, Suite 102, Reno, NV 89511. Additional attachments, excluding required financial information, are limited to one 8.5 by 11 inch page.
N9+ Fit: 0/100. The verified purpose is construction workforce education and training. The current materials do not establish a legitimate role for the Nonagon N9+ device and platform or QC Healthcare, so Atlas does not force a healthcare technology fit.
Atlas Opportunity Score: 58/100. This is an active Nevada administered education grant with defined eligibility and application requirements, but its construction industry focus and absent published award ceiling reduce Atlas relevance.
Outreach classification: publication only. No applicant outreach is authorized because N9+ and QC Healthcare fit is not established, and the controlling source does not publish an exact deadline time and time zone.
