The Lowell Schools Fund is accepting applications for its 2026-2027 Educator Grants. The application opened August 31, 2026 and closes October 9, 2026 at 7:00 PM. The official Lowell Schools Fund page does not separately state a timezone for the 7:00 PM deadline.
Funding
The program will make 12 awards across Lowell Public Schools elementary, middle, and high school levels. At each level, one $1,000 award, one $500 award, and two $250 awards are available. The maximum individual award is $1,000.
Eligibility and purpose
Eligible applicants are Lowell Public Schools K-12 educators and school staff, including Community Schools Managers. Principals and assistant principals are not eligible. The pilot program supports projects and initiatives that are not otherwise funded by the district and that strengthen classroom learning, creativity, and skill building.
Examples include field trips, design and build challenges, robotics, coding and STEM clubs, classroom or school libraries, service learning, career exploration, arts and poetry, hands-on science and engineering, civics, leadership, mentoring, and academic achievement projects.
Allowable and excluded costs
Allowable expenses include materials and equipment, transportation, registration fees, food and snacks, inclusivity and ADA supports, and other justified project expenses. The published exclusions include stipends for project advisors, student stipends, and sports teams. No mandatory applicant match or cost share is stated on the official program page.
Submission
Applications are submitted through the Google Form linked from the official Lowell Schools Fund page. Applicants may submit one application per individual. Funded projects are subject to final reporting requirements described by Lowell Schools Fund.
Atlas assessment
Atlas Opportunity Score: 60/100. School/Education Funding Score: 84/100. N9+ Fit: 0/100. QC Healthcare Fit: 0/100. Dr. Miltie direct-applicant fit: 0/100. The program is legitimate Massachusetts education funding, but its educator-focused structure and $1,000 maximum award do not establish a credible role for the Nonagon N9+ device and platform or QC Healthcare.
Atlas will not initiate new cold applicant outreach from this opportunity because Lowell Schools Fund publishes a 7:00 PM deadline without separately identifying the timezone. Publication remains appropriate and does not authorize outreach.
