Opportunity Overview
The Pella Community Foundation 2026 Impact Grant supports major local initiatives that significantly improve quality of life for residents of the Pella area. The Foundation favors projects with demonstrated community need, broad impact, collaboration, sustainability, organizational capacity, measurable evaluation, access for underserved populations, and a strong probability for leveraged funding from other sources.
Funding and Deadline
Grants are available for up to $25,000. The 2026 application deadline is October 1, 2026. The public application does not publish a closing clock time or time zone.
Eligibility
Eligible applicants are charitable organizations or causes with 501(c)(3) status and governmental agencies serving a charitable purpose. Funding is limited to projects that significantly improve quality of life for Pella area residents. Completed projects, ongoing annual operating expenses, continued program funding, individuals, and projects outside the Pella service area are not eligible.
Application Requirements
The Foundation accepts online applications only. Required information includes an organization overview, Board of Directors list, total annual budget and current financial statement, IRS 501(c)(3) determination letter, project timeline, full project scope and community need, implementation capacity, funding request, total project budget, percent of budget requested, and an evaluation plan. Formal collaborations require partner information and a Statement of Support from the collaborating organization.
Match and Funding Structure
No mandatory match percentage is published. Leveraged funding from other sources is a stated evaluation factor. Organizations should not submit the same project for both an Impact Grant and a Board Directed Grant in the same year.
Atlas Analysis
Atlas Opportunity Score: 88/100. This is a strong local funding opportunity for a well defined one time community health access project with measurable benefit for Pella residents.
N9+ Fit Score: 84/100, conditional. One potential concept is a community health access initiative incorporating the Nonagon N9+ device and platform to support guided physical examinations in appropriate care settings. Any such project must be defined by the applicant, comply with the Foundation’s final eligibility and budget rules, and be supported by verified local need and measurable outcomes. The Foundation does not specifically endorse this technology and Atlas does not assume any organization intends to apply.
Potential Iowa Healthcare Applicant Context
Pella Regional Health Center is a not for profit healthcare provider serving Pella and surrounding communities. It appears capable of evaluating a qualifying charitable healthcare access project, subject to its own priorities, project selection, and complete application documentation.
Submission Mechanics
Applications are submitted online through the Pella Community Foundation Impact Grant application. Applicants should complete all required organizational uploads and project responses before the October 1 deadline.
