Verified September 12, 2026. Southern Indiana Health Foundation’s Strategic Partnerships Fund is in its 2026 full application phase for organizations invited after the Letter of Intent review. The fund is designed as a sustained, multi year investment in mental health access and prevention across six Southern Indiana counties.
Funding and current timeline
The Foundation states that the program will invest $630,000 per year, or $1.89 million over three years, with grant terms of up to three years. The current public grants page does not publish a per applicant request ceiling.
The 2026 Letter of Intent window ran August 10 through August 25. Invitations to apply were issued September 1. Invited organizations may submit full applications from September 1 through September 30, 2026. The current public page does not state a closing clock time or time zone, so Atlas does not infer one. Interviews are scheduled for November 9 through November 11, with award decisions planned for November 20.
Eligibility
Applicants must be 501(c)(3) organizations that are current or past Southern Indiana Health Foundation grantees and must serve residents of Floyd, Clark, Crawford, Harrison, Scott, or Washington County, Indiana. Applicants must align with at least one funding priority, demonstrate measurable impact, and be prepared for a multi year partnership focused on long term outcomes. The current full application phase is invitation only.
Funding priorities
The first priority is expanding access to mental health care, including provider capacity, workforce development, care coordination and referral pathways, reducing financial barriers, crisis response, suicide prevention, and improving access for underserved populations. The second priority is prevention and upstream mental health, including youth development, coping skills, school based prevention, mental health education, digital safety, early intervention, and social emotional learning.
Application requirements
The Foundation states that invited applicants submit a complete proposal, budget, supporting documentation, and evaluation plan. The current public page does not disclose invitation specific portal mechanics, any additional required forms, or a mandatory match or cost share. Those items must be confirmed from the invitation materials before package production or submission.
N9+ and vendor fit
Atlas Opportunity Score: 86/100. N9+ Fit Score: 74/100 conditional. The Nonagon N9+ device and platform could be relevant only where an invited nonprofit’s approved mental health access project includes a legitimate clinical workflow involving guided remote physical examination, vitals, or telehealth enabled clinical encounters. The Foundation’s public guidance does not expressly identify telehealth equipment, connected clinical devices, remote examination technology, or outside vendor costs as allowable. Atlas therefore does not treat N9+ or QC Healthcare as automatically eligible, selected, or funded.
This is an applicant led, invitation gated opportunity rather than a direct Dr. Miltie or QC Healthcare applicant opportunity. Outreach should remain closed unless a specific invited applicant, legitimate project need, current budget and vendor allowability, recipient identity, deduplication state, opt out and bounce status, and both required organization specific outreach PDFs are verified.
