Verified September 13, 2026. The SIA Foundation, created and funded by Subaru of Indiana Automotive, is accepting applications for its Fall 2026 capital grant cycle. The Foundation supports Indiana organizations through tangible capital projects and purchases in Arts and Culture, Education, and Health and Welfare.

Funding and deadline

Eligible capital requests range from $1,000 to $15,000. Fall applications are accepted from July 1 through September 30, 2026. The controlling public guidance does not publish an exact closing clock time or time zone, so Atlas does not infer one.

Eligibility

Eligible applicants include tax exempt 501(c) organizations with a chapter or office in Indiana, Indiana educational institutions, and Indiana governmental or quasi governmental entities. Applicants must be financially sound. Individuals, for profit businesses, organizations outside Indiana, and organizations that are not tax exempt are ineligible.

Allowable capital costs

The Foundation funds capital projects and purchases, including real estate, facilities, and equipment. It prefers to fully fund tangible purchases that provide immediate impact for the people served by the applicant, and funded tangible items must remain with the applying organization for at least three years. Cost and pricing documentation should be submitted with the application.

Operating costs, salaries, marketing, routine expenses, conferences, meals, travel, fundraising campaigns, vehicles or vehicle repairs, software, software subscriptions, endowments, and memorials are among the published exclusions. No mandatory match or cost share is stated in the controlling public guidance.

N9+ and vendor fit

Atlas Opportunity Score: 92/100. N9+ Fit Score: 84/100 conditional. A legitimate applicant led role for the Nonagon N9+ device and platform may exist where an eligible Indiana Health and Welfare applicant has a verified clinical need involving guided physical examinations, vitals, or telehealth enabled clinical encounters and the tangible device hardware is accepted as an allowable capital equipment purchase.

A material limitation applies: software and software subscriptions are expressly ineligible. Any applicant proposal involving N9+ must therefore separate potentially eligible tangible device hardware from excluded recurring software, subscription, or license costs, and must not charge excluded software costs to the SIA Foundation grant. This is not a direct procurement or direct applicant opportunity for Dr. Miltie or QC Healthcare.

Submission

Applications are submitted through the SIA Foundation online Grant Application System. Account creation and login are required. The Foundation reviews applications competitively based on need, alignment, and impact.
