Opportunity Overview
The Illinois Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board (ILETSB) is accepting applications for the FY27 Law Enforcement Camera Grant, CSFA 569-00-3496. The program supports eligible Illinois law enforcement agencies with in-car video cameras, officer-worn body cameras and associated technology, officer-worn camera data storage and related licensing, and camera-operation training.
Funding
The live Illinois Euna opportunity lists $36,235,279.81 in State opportunity funding. Awards range from $1 to $3,000,000. Cost sharing and matching are not required. Indirect costs are allowed subject to the applicant’s approved or elected rate under Illinois requirements.
Deadline and Submission
Applications must be submitted electronically through Illinois Euna/AmpliFund by November 18, 2026 at 5:00 PM CST. Paper, fax, courier, mailed, and emailed applications are not accepted. Applicants may submit only one application.
Eligibility
The opportunity is open to eligible Illinois law enforcement agencies of municipalities, counties, park districts, state-controlled universities or colleges, public community colleges, and other units of Illinois local government recognized by the Board. Applicants must satisfy GATA prequalification requirements, maintain required officer rosters and training compliance, and meet applicable camera-program reporting requirements.
Allowable Costs
Funds may support purchasing or leasing in-car video cameras; purchasing or leasing officer-worn body cameras and associated technology; data storage and related licensing costs for officer-worn body cameras; and training for law enforcement officers in camera operation. Qualified applicants may use reimbursement, advance payment, or working-capital reconciliation methods. Certain documented pre-award costs are allowed under the current opportunity.
Application Materials
The published application package requires the Uniform Grant Application, procurement information, Uniform Budget Template, Conflict of Interest Disclosure, Mandatory Disclosures, current LEDI roster, most recent 2026 UCR/NIBRS agency monthly tracker, current W-9, indirect cost documentation when applicable, Programmatic Risk Assessment Questionnaire, and payment-method documentation tied to requested equipment or services.
Technical Assistance
ILETSB lists a live technical-assistance session for October 7, 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM Central Time. The public opportunity does not state that attendance is mandatory.
Atlas Assessment
Atlas Opportunity Score: 76/100. This is a large, clearly defined Illinois public-safety equipment opportunity with a long application window, no required match, and a broad pool of eligible local-government law enforcement agencies.
N9+ Fit Score: 0/100. The controlling opportunity is limited to law-enforcement camera systems, related storage/licensing, and associated training. N9+ should not be positioned.
QC Healthcare Fit: 0/100. This is not a healthcare-services or clinical-procurement opportunity.
Next Action
Prioritize eligible Illinois municipal, county, park-district, higher-education, community-college, and other qualifying local-government law enforcement agencies. Before ORIGINAL outreach, verify agency eligibility, GATA status, authoritative recipient, verified business email, Email Opt-Out status, permanent-bounce history, and exact-opportunity send-history and queue deduplication. Initial outreach should introduce the verified grant opportunity and Atlas grant-package assistance at no cost and must not introduce N9+.
