Atlas Analysis

Atlas Opportunity Score 76/100. N9+ Fit Score 0/100. The program was directly healthcare-relevant but was a focused childhood-cancer research award rather than a clinical-service or equipment opportunity. The FY2027 NOFO expressly made equipment unallowable, so Atlas did not force a Nonagon N9+ device and platform pathway into the project. Match was not required. The controlling FY2027 NOFO set the deadline at September 18, 2026 at 4:30 p.m. without separately publishing a time zone. The opportunity is now closed; no new outreach or submission activity is authorized absent a formal reopening or successor notice.

Eligible topics may include epidemiology, etiology, pathology, social or economic impacts, in-home care, and psychosocial issues. The NOFO allocates 60 points to Scope of Work, 20 to Work Plan, 15 to Budget, and 5 to Miscellaneous criteria. Equipment is expressly unallowable, as are prescription drugs, land/building acquisition or improvement, facility leases, airfare, out-of-state travel, and other prohibited costs listed in the NOFO. Quarterly program and reimbursement reporting is required.

Dr. Miltie / N9+ Fit

N9+ is not a legitimate fit for this research-only opportunity. The NOFO expressly prohibits equipment costs, so Atlas is not forcing a telehealth or remote physical-examination component into the grant.
