The Indian Health Service Albuquerque Area is conducting market research through Sources Sought Notice for Nurse Triage Services at the Jicarilla Indian Health Center in Dulce, New Mexico, ACQ-IHS-2026-U-01028. The contemplated requirement is for non-personal after-hours nurse triage and call-handling services supporting the Jicarilla Indian Health Center.

Capability responses are due September 25, 2026 at 2:00 PM Eastern Daylight Time.
Scope
Services include inbound after-hours call handling, symptom assessment using standardized clinical protocols, medical guidance and escalation, and appropriate direction to higher levels of care. Coverage is anticipated after weekday clinic hours, 24 hours on weekends and federal holidays, and during unexpected early closures, for up to approximately 7,500 service hours per year.

This is a Sources Sought Notice for market research and is not a solicitation or award commitment. IHS is assessing whether the requirement can be set aside under the Buy Indian Act for qualified Indian Small Business Economic Enterprises or Indian Economic Enterprises and, if a Buy Indian set-aside is not practicable, whether a Total Small Business Set-Aside is appropriate. Respondents should maintain active SAM.gov registration and identify business size and socioeconomic status.
Capability Response
Interested firms should provide company and UEI/SAM information, applicable socioeconomic status, the IHS IEE Representation Form when relevant, and capability and past-performance information demonstrating the ability to provide the required nurse-triage services.
