The Indian Health Service Great Plains Area is conducting market research through IEE Sources Sought – 24/7 Telebehavioral Health Emergency Department Support Services – Great Plains Area, SSN_IHS1526971. Services include suicide-risk assessment using C-SSRS and SAFE-T, crisis intervention and de-escalation, Stanley-Brown safety planning, lethal-means counseling when appropriate, placement coordination for higher levels of care, interpreter coordination, culturally responsive and trauma-informed care, and medication-stabilization consultation by qualified prescribing providers.

The initial Emergency Department locations are Pine Ridge Hospital, Rosebud Hospital, and Eagle Butte Hospital in South Dakota, and Fort Yates Hospital and Belcourt Hospital in North Dakota. IHS anticipates 24/7/365 coverage, including weekends and federal holidays, through Webex or another platform identified by IHS.
