Opportunity Overview
The Georgia Criminal Justice Coordinating Council (CJCC) is accepting applications for the FY2026 Family Violence Prevention and Services Act (FVPSA) (VAWA Deferred) Continuation Request for Applications. This is a Georgia-administered federal pass-through opportunity and is continuation funding only.
Funding and Deadline
CJCC’s Appendix B lists $2,358,640 in continuation allocations across named Georgia agencies, with organization-specific recommended amounts. Applications are due Thursday, October 15, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. The controlling CJCC materials do not state a deadline time zone, so Atlas does not infer one.
Eligibility
Applicants are limited to Georgia agencies that received FY25 FVPSA (VAWA Deferred) awards and provide intervention services, awareness, and education related to domestic-violence prevention. Applicant agencies should be certified and eligible to receive Local Victim Assistance Program 5% funds; an agency without certification may apply, but must complete certification requirements before drawing funds if awarded.
Match and Required Attachments
CJCC states that the ordinary 20% FVPSA match is waived for this application. Applicants must nevertheless provide a match letter explaining how the agency would meet the 20% match if required. The RFA requires an organizational chart and a Budget Detail Worksheet, with supporting documentation for budgeted items when applicable. MOUs and letters of support may be supplied but are not required.
Submission
Applications must be submitted online through CJCC’s IGX Grants Management System. The applicant must select the FY2026 FVPSA (VAWA Deferred) Continuation Application, complete the required agency, grant-official, programmatic and budget sections, and have the Authorized Official finalize the application as submitted.
Allowable Costs and Atlas Analysis
Allowable categories include personnel and fringe, travel, equipment, supplies, printing, certain occupancy and operating costs, client assistance, consultant fees, and contracts, subject to allowability, necessity, justification and reasonableness. Funds may not supplant existing appropriations.
Atlas Opportunity Score: 88/100. The awardees and recommended allocation amounts are already identified, making this a strong continuation-package opportunity for eligible organizations. N9+ Fit: 0/100. QC Healthcare Fit: 0/100. Atlas should not force a healthcare-device or vendor strategy into a victim-services continuation grant.
