The Summit Foundation Fall 2026 General Grant Application is open for eligible nonprofit organizations serving Summit County and specified neighboring mountain communities in Colorado.
Deadline: September 24, 2026. The controlling public grant page does not publish a submission clock time or time zone, so Atlas is not inferring either. Applicants should use the live online portal as controlling for any portal-specific cutoff.
Eligibility and geography: applicants must be tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organizations and must be located within Summit County or have active programming in Summit County. Organizations serving Alma, Fairplay, Kremmling, and Leadville may also apply in any of the Foundation’s priority impact areas, although basic-needs grants are prioritized in those neighboring communities. Nonprofits may apply once per year in either the spring or fall cycle.
Funding: the Foundation does not publish a general minimum or maximum request amount for Summit County applicants on the controlling Fall 2026 grant page. For eligible neighboring communities, the published maximum request is $10,000. Atlas will not infer a broader award ceiling from historical awards or Foundation-wide annual giving.
