The Amica Companies Foundation accepts charitable grant applications throughout the year from qualified federal tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organizations. Current public guidance states that grants are generally restricted to community-based organizations serving Rhode Island residents.

Funding
The Foundation’s current public grant guidance does not state a universal award range, maximum award, or program-wide funding pool. Applicants should request an amount supported by the proposed program and confirm any portal-specific limits before submission.
Program Priorities
Supported categories include basic needs and community development, education, health, arts and culture, and community and public affairs. The Foundation generally does not support capital campaigns, building restorations, or operating expenses.
How to Apply
Applications are accepted at any time through the Foundation’s online application system. Quarterly review cutoffs are March 1, June 1, September 1, and December 1. Applications submitted after a cutoff roll into the next review period, with decisions communicated the following month.
Next 2026 quarterly review cutoff: December 1, 2026. The current official guidance does not state a submission clock time or time zone for that cutoff.

This is a strong Rhode Island nonprofit funding source for eligible health, education, basic-needs, and community programs. Fit for remote clinical or diagnostic capability is conditional and should be confirmed against the proposed program and portal requirements before budgeting equipment or technology.
