Opportunity Overview
The Delta Dental of Arizona Foundation 2027 Community Grant Cycle is open to Arizona-based eligible organizations serving underserved and uninsured populations. The 2027 cycle supports programs focused on oral health, medical-dental integration, food insecurity and nutrition, and, for the first time, vision education, prevention, and treatment.
Funding and Deadline
Delta Dental of Arizona Foundation states that 2027 community grants range from $5,000 to $30,000. Organizations may receive one grant per year, and awards are made for a one-year period.
Applications are due October 8, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. MST. The Foundation’s official SurveyMonkey Apply portal states that receipt time is recorded in MST by the software and that late applications will not be accepted.
Eligibility
Applicants must be an Arizona-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, government agency, school, or charitable program with a fiscal agent. Programs must benefit underserved and uninsured populations of any age. Only one proposal per organization will be accepted in the grant cycle.
Eligible Program Areas and Costs
Eligible program areas include oral health education, dental disease prevention and access to dental care, integration of oral health with medical care, food banks and other food-security programs, nutrition initiatives, and vision education, prevention, and treatment.
The Foundation states that grant funds may support appropriate programmatic expenses, salaries, supplies, and equipment. The current public 2027 materials reviewed by Atlas do not state a mandatory match or cost-share requirement. Atlas does not infer one.
Submission and Documentation
Applications are submitted through the Foundation’s official SurveyMonkey Apply portal. The public application page and portal establish the current open status, deadline, eligibility, and submission method. No separate public amendment changing the September 1, 2026 program announcement was identified in the current official materials reviewed.
Atlas Analysis
Atlas opportunity fit: High for qualified Arizona nonprofit, public-sector, school, and fiscally sponsored healthcare or community-health programs. The program directly supports oral health, medical-dental integration, vision, nutrition, and access for underserved and uninsured Arizonans.
N9+ Fit Score: 20/100 conditional. Equipment is an allowable program expense, but the Foundation does not establish a direct N9+ procurement pathway. Any N9+ inclusion would need to be independently justified by an eligible applicant’s program design and the grant’s health focus. Atlas does not force product inclusion.
QC Healthcare Fit: 0/100 direct-applicant fit until verified. The published eligibility categories do not include ordinary private businesses. A QC Healthcare role, if any, would have to arise through a legitimately eligible applicant or other compliant project structure and must not be inferred.
Dr. Miltie direct-applicant/vendor fit: 0/100 until verified. The official materials do not establish Dr. Miltie, QC Healthcare, or any affiliated entity as an eligible applicant or direct vendor beneficiary.
Outreach and Production Control
The verified deadline is more than 48 hours away, but publication does not authorize applicant-specific outreach. Before any ORIGINAL outreach, Atlas must separately establish a legitimate eligible Arizona organization, a verified business Contact, Email Opt-Out protection, bounce status, Deal/queue deduplication, and authoritative send history. Ordinary initial outreach must not introduce or sell N9+.
