The Greater Rochester Community Health Foundation Small Grants Program is accepting 2026 applications from eligible nonprofit organizations serving Strafford County, New Hampshire, for work addressing access-to-care challenges.
Funding
Applicants may request up to $10,000 in one-year, nonrenewable general operating support.
Deadline
Applications are due September 30, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time. The GrantSource application portal opened September 9, 2026.
Eligibility and Priorities
Funding is limited to organizations providing services in Strafford County. An organization headquartered elsewhere may apply when Strafford County is a primary service location. Applicants must be recognized as tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3), or apply through an eligible public-charity fiscal sponsor.
The program supports access-to-care needs that may include housing, senior services, transportation and logistics, with priority for collaborative work and applicants targeting maternal health. Public and private schools, hospitals, colleges and universities, religious organizations, municipalities, and government entities are instructed not to apply.
Eligible organizations may submit only one 2026 Greater Rochester Community Health Foundation application, choosing either the Small Grants Program or the Targeted Grants Program.
Application Process
Applicants use the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation’s GrantSource portal. Final decisions are expected by email in December 2026.
