Who may apply
Harvard University faculty at instructor, assistant professor, associate professor, or professor rank may serve as principal investigator, with independent resources to conduct the study. Applicants in other appointment or training categories must discuss eligibility or document institutional support as required. One principal investigator per proposal, and one application per person as PI; co-investigators may be based outside Harvard when justified. Funds support a one-year study, with no extensions. NIH-defined clinical trials are not eligible. IRB or other applicable approvals are required before release of funds. No applicant matching requirement is specified in the reviewed official RFA.
