Denver Broncos Foundation — 2026 Q4 Community Grant Program
The Denver Broncos Foundation provides competitive Community Grants of up to $10,000 per eligible organization for specific Colorado youth-serving projects benefitting children and young adults ages 5–24. This is direct nonprofit/public-benefit financial assistance and not a contract to sell products or services to the football club.
Current funding round and deadline
The 2026 fourth-quarter cycle opened August 16, 2026 and has an application submission deadline of November 15, 2026. The foundation’s public calendar does not state a precise cutoff hour or time zone. Award notifications are expected by December 15, 2026, and reports from awarded projects are due January 15, 2028. The foundation reserves the right to change published cycle dates. The subsequent 2027 Q1 cycle begins January 1, 2027, with a February 15, 2027 deadline; it is not the current grant cycle.
Applicant eligibility
Applicants must provide programs or services in Colorado, have recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit status or a government equivalent, and maintain a programming expense ratio of at least 80%. Grants support specific projects for Colorado youth ages 5–24 in one of the approved funding priorities. The main program page says one application per calendar year, while its secondary application page says one per 12-month period; applicants should verify the applicable frequency rule with the foundation and should not assume a second 2026 application is allowed. Previous recipients must have submitted their required grant report to become eligible for another award.
Priority projects and eligible expenses
Current priorities are youth health and wellness (including youth mental health, coping skills and food insecurity), youth and high school football (player safety, access and first-time girls flag football), dynamic in-school/out-of-school programming that promotes attendance, youth belonging and engagement, and career pathways that include credentials, career/technical education and work-based learning. Small-scale capital improvements may be eligible in the youth football priority when directly relevant; all proposals must follow the foundation’s program rules.
Key exclusions, match and documentation
Unallowable requests include fundraising events and sponsorships, general administration and operating expenses, grants to individuals, religious organizations, endowments/reserves, memberships, political campaigns, conferences, workshops, and group or individual trips. The public grant rules do not publish a universal mandatory applicant cash-match percentage or reimbursement-only requirement; applicants should verify any project-specific terms in the current CyberGrants application and award agreement. Prior awardees must be current on grant reporting.
How to apply and controlling source
Review the official Denver Broncos Foundation Community Grants guidelines and quarterly calendar and submit the online application using its APPLY NOW CyberGrants link. Prepare nonprofit or government-equivalent status, the organization’s program-expense ratio, the target number and age range of Colorado youth, measurable project outcomes, a project-specific budget and any documents requested by the live portal. Do not contact the foundation for application-status updates after submission. Official guidelines and the foundation’s program overview were verified October 27, 2026.
