Current status: Applications are accepted on a rolling basis for community-led cleanup projects in the greater Portland Metro region.
Funding: Up to $5,000 per project or activity, with up to $15,000 per applicant per fiscal year across sequential projects.
Eligible applicants: Nonprofit organizations, public agencies, schools, and business district associations within the Metro regional boundary. Unincorporated community groups may apply with an eligible nonprofit fiscal sponsor.
Project requirements: Future projects on publicly accessible property within Metro’s boundary that serve an equity focus area, environmentally sensitive area, or underserved community. Administrative expenses may not exceed 30% of the project budget; graffiti cleanup/removal is generally limited to 25% of total project budget unless the project qualifies under Metro’s temporary graffiti-abatement guidance.
