The Southeast Minnesota Adult Mental Health Initiative (SE AMHI) has opened its 2027 Community Grant Fund for mental health and related service providers serving Dodge, Fillmore, Goodhue, Houston, Mower, Olmsted, Steele, Wabasha, Waseca, and Winona Counties.
The official Houston County announcement states that the fund supports services for adults with serious and persistent mental illness. Applicants may submit up to two applications and request $5,000 to $45,000 per grant. A total of $400,000 is available for the 2027 cycle. Applications are due by close of business Friday, October 9, 2026.
Funding priorities include reducing mental health disparities and improving access for underserved populations, rural mental health access, services valued by people with lived experience, services for people facing major social and economic barriers, and housing combined with services and supports.
