Scope
The contemplated Clinical Coordinating Center will support continued operation of the Women’s Health Initiative as an epidemiologic research resource focused on cardiovascular disease determinants, quality of life, and successful aging in older women. Anticipated work includes participant surveillance and data linkages, management of biospecimen repositories, researcher access to study data, database and quality-control functions, and recurring data transfers or updates to NIH research repositories and platforms.
Anticipated Contract Structure
The current Sources Sought materials describe an anticipated single-award indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract with an expected performance period from February 1, 2028 through January 31, 2038, with work performed principally at the contractor’s site.
Response Requirements
Interested small businesses should submit a capability statement not exceeding 15 pages that directly demonstrates relevant scientific, clinical-research, epidemiology, biorepository, data-coordination, surveillance, security/confidentiality, and quality-assurance capability. Qualification Guidance
This opportunity is most relevant to an experienced small-business clinical and epidemiologic research organization capable of operating a major longitudinal coordinating center and securely managing participant, biospecimen, and research data at national scale. No Dr. Miltie direct capability is assumed without documentary evidence of comparable coordinating-center infrastructure and experience.
