Active Delaware nonprofit collaboration funding. The Fund for Delaware Collaboration, a SeaChange Capital Partners program supported by the Longwood Foundation, has an active application for tax-exempt organizations based in or providing services within Delaware that are pursuing formal sustained collaborations.
Funding
The Fund offers three award types: Seed grants up to $5,000 to assess readiness or begin alignment, Exploratory grants up to $30,000 for due diligence and feasibility work, and Implementation grants up to $30,000 for one-time costs associated with implementing a formal collaboration.
Eligibility and geography
Eligible applicants are tax-exempt organizations based in Delaware or providing services within Delaware. National organizations may participate when the primary benefit of the partnership applies to Delawareans. The Fund states that there are no size or sector restrictions for eligible tax-exempt organizations.
Eligible costs and restrictions
Grant support is limited to necessary one-time, out-of-pocket costs for exploring or implementing a sustained collaboration. The Fund specifically supports nonprofits in identifying and engaging experienced outside technical assistance providers. Eligible work can include readiness assessment, due diligence, feasibility analysis and transactional support. The Fund states that grant support is not available when there are no third-party costs. Seed and Exploratory grants are anonymized when SeaChange shares information with the Longwood Foundation.
For cross-sector collaborations, the Fund may support exploration or planning. For Implementation funding, the Fund states that a nonprofit must be the surviving entity. The FAQ also explains that a pilot program may qualify depending on maturity and the costs needed to complete the collaboration work, with applicants encouraged to discuss the situation directly with the Fund.
Match and cost share
The Fund states that its grants are designed to represent roughly 40% to 75% of total project costs in most cases. The current public materials reviewed by Atlas do not state a formal mandatory match percentage, but applicants should expect the award to cover only a portion of typical collaboration costs.
Application and deadline
The official Fund application page is active and directs organizations to complete its embedded application form. The public materials reviewed by Atlas do not publish a closing date, clock time or time zone. Atlas therefore does not infer an exact deadline and does not authorize new applicant outreach based on an assumed deadline.
Atlas strategy
Atlas Opportunity Score: 68/100. This is legitimate Delaware capacity-building funding that can be relevant to nonprofit healthcare, behavioral health, community health and education organizations pursuing formal collaborations, shared services or programmatic joint ventures. The broad sector scope and restriction to collaboration-related technical assistance limit its direct programmatic fit.
N9+ Fit Score: 0/100. The verified program is not designed to purchase clinical devices or care-delivery technology, so Atlas does not force a Nonagon N9+ role.
QC Healthcare Fit: 30/100. A qualified healthcare consulting role may be possible only where QC Healthcare can truthfully serve as appropriate outside technical assistance for a formal collaboration. Any such role would require applicant-specific fit and Fund acceptance and should not be assumed.
Outreach disposition: publication and monitoring only. The active official application does not state an exact closing date, time or time zone, so Atlas will not create new cold applicant outreach under the current deadline-verification gate.
