Purpose and Allowable Use
The funding is specifically intended to address room and board costs that Medicaid cannot reimburse for people receiving qualifying residential substance use disorder treatment. Supported individuals may have a current opioid use disorder, a history of opioid use disorder while receiving treatment for another substance use disorder, or stimulant use disorder with documented opioid exposure or overdose risk as described by DHS. Awarded applicants may support their own members or residents and may also support non-members or non-residents.
