The Wold Foundation is accepting applications for its Fall 2026 grant cycle from qualifying 501(c)(3) organizations. The Foundation gives preference to projects benefiting Wyoming citizens and Wyoming youth and expressly includes health care, human services and youth programs, and education among its primary areas of interest.
Deadline: October 15, 2026. The controlling Foundation pages do not publish an exact closing time or time zone, so Atlas does not infer one. The Fall funding decision is expected in December.
Eligibility: Applicant organizations must be classified as 501(c)(3) by the IRS and operate within the continental United States. Wyoming-serving projects receive explicit preference. The Foundation considers only one request per organization per year and generally prefers special projects.
Relevant funding priorities: Health programs that are preventive in nature, promote wellness, or can demonstrate reduced health care costs; human-service and youth programs that help people build skills, self-confidence and productive independence; and education from preschool through university, including public, independent and private schools.
Restrictions: The Foundation does not fund individuals, churches or church projects, endowments, debt retirement, conduit funding, projects involving court action, political activity, or previously denied proposals. It also states that it will not fund organizations that unfairly discriminate on the basis of sex, age or religion.
Funding amount: The controlling public pages do not publish a per-grant minimum, maximum, applicant cap, or current cycle pool. Atlas does not infer one.
Match and cost share: The controlling public pages do not state a mandatory match or cost-share requirement. Applicants must verify any application-level cost-share or budget restrictions in the live grant portal before relying on them.
Submission: Applications are submitted through the Wold Foundation online Grant Lifecycle Manager portal linked from the Foundation’s official Apply page. New users must create a portal account; existing applicants should use their existing credentials.
Required forms and attachments: The public Foundation pages do not expose the complete authenticated application prompts, required uploads, certifications, file rules or character limits. Those controls must be reviewed in the live portal before package production or outreach.
Atlas analysis: Atlas Opportunity Score 86/100. N9+ Fit 20/100. This is a strong Wyoming health, human-services, youth and education opportunity, especially for preventive-health, wellness, youth mental-health, substance-use prevention, school-support and family-service projects. N9+ or other clinical technology costs must not be represented as eligible unless the live application and Foundation controls establish project-specific allowability. Dr. Miltie is not a direct eligible applicant under the published 501(c)(3) requirement; any QC Healthcare or Dr. Miltie role must be within an eligible nonprofit-led project and remain subject to cost allowability.
Source control: Atlas verified the Foundation’s official About/Home, Guidelines and Restrictions, Apply, and Grant Lifecycle Manager portal pages. Unpublished application-level requirements remain unresolved rather than inferred.
