Opportunity Overview
Arkansas Securities Department Investor Education Grant Program, 2026-2027 is an open Arkansas-administered education grant for programs that teach securities and investment education to students. The controlling state page states that grants support education about the securities industry, stock markets, investment decision making, financial literacy, and investment education for Arkansas students in grades 5 through 12.
Funding and Deadline
Proposals are due September 30, 2026. The official page does not publish a deadline clock time or time zone, so Atlas does not infer either. The current page does not state a maximum request amount or individual award range. For context only, the Department reports that 54 schools and seven nonprofit organizations received a combined total of nearly $250,000 for the 2025-2026 school year; that prior-year total is not an applicant award ceiling for the current cycle.
Projects must be completed by March 31, 2027. A final report is due no later than April 30, 2027.
Eligibility
Eligible applicants are Arkansas public schools and 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations that provide both financial literacy and investment education to Arkansas students in grades five through twelve. The Commissioner determines awards based on program merit, other school resources, and the number of students educated.
Allowable Uses and Match
Grant funds may be used for appropriate educational resources, software materials, or equipment. The official current page does not state a mandatory applicant match or cost share. Applicants certify that grant funds will not be used to teach, advocate, or promote a divisive concept as defined by Arkansas Code Ann. § 25-1-901. All awarded funds should be spent or returned in accordance with the Department’s grant rules; unused funds above $100 require Department approval.
Required Application Materials
The current-year Grant Application Form and W-9 are required through the online submission form. A 501(c)(3) determination letter is required when applicable. The application also requests organizational background and prior investment-education experience, educational need and student population, student learning objectives, a detailed project description and project period, measurable outcomes, other school resources committed to the project, and an itemized project budget with cost estimates for each requested item. Incomplete submissions are declined.
Submission and Reporting
Applications are submitted through the online form on the Arkansas Securities Department grant page. The final report must include measurable project outcomes, a financial accounting of actual expenditures, and receipts or invoices. Failure to submit the required final report and supporting financial documentation forfeits future grant consideration.
Strategic Fit
Atlas Opportunity Score: 78/100. This is a verified, currently open Arkansas education funding opportunity with an authoritative state source, clear applicant classes, a defined due date, and express allowability for educational equipment and software. Its strategic score is moderated because the state does not publish a current applicant award ceiling and the funded purpose is securities and investment education rather than healthcare delivery.
N9+ Fit Score: 0/100. Atlas found no legitimate role for the Nonagon N9+ device and platform or QC Healthcare within the controlling investment-education purpose. No N9+ or QC applicant outreach should be initiated. Publication is informational and does not imply product fit.
