What Gulf Coast looks for
Strong Catalytic proposals address root causes and demonstrate impact, readiness, collaboration, measurable outcomes, sustainability, and leverage. Applicants should maintain a current Giving Partner Profile and incorporate community voice and lived experience where appropriate.
The current public guidance does not state a mandatory match or cost share requirement, does not publish a detailed technology, equipment, medical device, or outside vendor cost rule, and does not enumerate every portal attachment required at the letter of inquiry stage. Applicants should treat the live Grantee Platform as controlling for portal specific requirements.
Submission
Applicants submit the Letter of Inquiry through Gulf Coast Community Foundation’s Grantee Platform. Selected applicants are invited to submit a full proposal. Gulf Coast encourages first time applicants to contact its Community Leadership team at communityleadership@gulfcoastcf.org.
Dr. Miltie / N9+ perspective
N9+ Fit Score: 72/100, conditional. The Nonagon N9+ device and platform could have a legitimate applicant led role in an eligible regional health access, telehealth, screening, care coordination, or community health project when that technology is material to the project’s outcomes. Gulf Coast’s public Catalytic guidance does not expressly establish medical devices, technology equipment, or outside vendor costs as allowable, so those costs should be confirmed before budgeting. Dr. Miltie, LLC is not treated as a direct eligible applicant under the public charity eligibility standard; any role would be as an applicant selected partner or vendor subject to the funder’s requirements.
