Torch Helps, Inc., the employee-created charitable organization associated with Torch Technologies, is accepting applications for its Q4 2026 $10,000 grant cycle from eligible local charities serving communities where Torch Technologies employees reside.
Funding: Each quarterly award is $10,000. The proposed use must align with the Torch Helps mission of supporting people and families who are financially disadvantaged, lack access to basic health and human services, or otherwise require assistance with fundamental needs including food, clothing, shelter, medical care, mental health, safety, and enrichment opportunities for underserved populations.
Deadline: The Q4 2026 application deadline is October 26, 2026, close of business. Torch Helps does not publish a numeric closing time or time zone. Applications received after close of business are held for the following quarterly grant cycle.
Eligibility: Applicants must hold current 501(c)(3) status with deductible contributions under Internal Revenue Code Section 170, be community based, operate in an area where Torch Technologies employees reside, provide services open to community members regardless of race, religion, political affiliation, ability to pay, or background, use 100 percent of grant funds in the employee residence area, and meet Better Business Bureau Wise Giving Alliance Standards for Charity Accountability. Organizations that received a Torch Helps quarterly grant within the preceding 24 months are ineligible.
Ineligible applicants and costs: Individuals, private foundations, public or private educational institutions, tax supported institutions, social organizations or committees, and religious organizations without an eligible secular community designation are excluded. Grant funds may not be used for salary, wages, stipends, or training agency employees or volunteers.
Application and review: A Torch Helps grant application must be completed in full. The Review Committee evaluates eligibility and may request clarification or a site visit before recommending applicants to the Board of Directors and then to the contributing employee vote. Torch Helps states that a budget or cost breakdown is helpful and asks applicants to clearly define the purpose of significant material items purchased with grant funds. Employee nomination is not required for the large grant program.
Application-form availability note: As verified September 13, 2026, the official Grant Information page remains active and lists the Q4 deadline, but its linked PDF and Word application file URLs return 404 errors. Applicants should obtain the current form directly from Torch Helps at torchhelps@torchtechnologies.com before submission. This does not change the published Q4 deadline.
Match or cost share: No mandatory applicant match or cost share is stated on the controlling grant page. Applicants should confirm any application-specific conditions in the current form once obtained.
Atlas analysis: Atlas Opportunity Score 90/100. N9+ Fit Score 86/100, qualified. Medical care, mental health, and basic health and human services are expressly within the funder’s mission, and Torch Helps specifically instructs applicants to explain significant material purchases. A legitimate role for the Nonagon N9+ device and platform may exist for an eligible nonprofit with a documented clinical access need, but device acquisition is not expressly preapproved and must fit the organization’s real program, the $10,000 award, and Torch Helps’ final application requirements. QC Healthcare fit is likewise applicant and project specific. Dr. Miltie, LLC is not being treated as the direct applicant.
