Opportunity Overview
The Rhode Island Governor’s Workforce Board has issued GWB-CC-2026-01, Governor’s Workforce Board Coaching Collaborative. The selected organization or partnership will support career development professionals across education, workforce, community-based organizations and state agencies through a cross-sector network, shared resources and professional development.
Funding and Period of Performance
Year 1 funding totals $150,000, with one awardee or partnership anticipated. The initial period of performance is December 1, 2026 through November 28, 2027. The Board may extend the engagement for up to four additional years, subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance.
Deadline and Submission
Complete proposals are due September 28, 2026 at 4:00 PM EST. Proposals must be submitted as a PDF by email to Corey D. Jones at corey.d.jones@dlt.ri.gov using the required subject line Governor’s Workforce Board Coaching Collaborative Proposal. Additional attachments may be included in the same email. Late or incomplete proposals will not be accepted.
Eligible Applicants
Eligible applicants include community-based organizations, private nonprofit organizations and other mission-aligned entities with demonstrated experience working with career development professionals or workforce organizations, experience delivering cohort-based or ad hoc professional development, and sufficient fiscal and administrative capacity. Out-of-state applicants may apply only with at least one on-the-ground Rhode Island partner. Registration in Ocean State Procures is required at the time of award.
Core Scope
The selected grantee will develop and sustain a cross-sector career counselor network, create and maintain an online repository of career development resources, and provide cohort-based and ad hoc professional development. The solicitation also requires coordination, communications, measurement and continuous improvement activities supporting Rhode Island’s career development ecosystem.
Proposal Requirements
