Opportunity Overview
The Scioto Foundation is accepting 2026 Scioto 365 proposals under the theme EngAging in Community. The program focuses on improving quality of life for older adults in Scioto County through community based projects.
Funding and Deadline
$15,000 total is available through the 2026 program, including at least one $10,000 grant. The current page does not publish a universal per applicant maximum beyond those figures.
Deadline: September 30, 2026. No deadline clock time or time zone is published on the current controlling page.
Eligibility
Applicants must be organizations recognized by the IRS as tax exempt under Section 501(c)(3). The Foundation prioritizes projects with broad benefit in Scioto County, especially projects serving underserved populations.
2026 Priorities
Priorities include Aging and Financial Security, Aging Wellness, Aging and Transportation, Health and Mental Health Projects for Seniors, Educational Opportunities for Seniors, Aging and Fitness, Basic Needs for Seniors, End of Life, and Volunteerism.
Match and Cost Share
No mandatory match percentage or cost share ratio is published. Greater priority is given to applicants seeking only a portion of total project cost, which is a preference rather than a stated mandatory match.
Required Proposal Package
The standard package requires a signed application transmittal form, one original and five copies of the complete proposal, the IRS tax exemption letter, job descriptions for key personnel and consultant resumes when applicable, current financial statements or audit reports, and collaborator information or letters of support when applicable. The narrative also addresses organizational background, need, goals and objectives, action plan and timeline, evaluation, continuation or future funding, budget, and budget narrative.
Submission Mechanics
Applicants should use the Foundation’s standard application materials and submit a complete proposal package. Incomplete applications and faxed submissions are not accepted.

Atlas Fit Analysis
Atlas Opportunity Score: 82/100.
N9+ Fit Score: 68/100, conditional applicant led. Health and mental health projects for seniors are explicit 2026 priorities, creating a plausible role for the Nonagon N9+ device and platform within a legitimate applicant owned project. Technology and device costs are not expressly identified as allowable, and the total funding pool is modest. Dr. Miltie and QC Healthcare are not direct eligible applicants. Any vendor or partnership role requires an eligible nonprofit applicant and confirmation that the proposed expense qualifies.
Potential Applicant Profile
Organizations serving older adults in Scioto County may be relevant candidates. Area Agency on Aging District 7 serves Scioto County and older adults and people with disabilities across southern Ohio. Its exact tax status and project eligibility should be independently verified before outreach or application activity.
